LIQUID ASSETS

Can you start with a commodity and build a brand? For almost 40 years, Agro-Culture Liquid Fertilizers (ACLF) in St. Johns, Michigan has profitably marketed its in-house formulated and branded liquid fertilizer. Incorporated in 1983, Agro-Culture Liquid is a well-known manufacturer and direct-account marketing agribusiness that deals strictly in liquid fertilizers. This alone makes our company fairly unique in a day when most every ag retailer deals in at least a little bit of everything, from fertilizer to LP gas, including chemicals, seeds and all the services in between.

ACLF has been ahead of what the demands are for environmentally friendly products. Our products allow you to apply more usable plant food and in smaller quantities; yet they achieve the same, and often better, results. Above all, we stress the importance of our added micronutrients to formulations. We use the concept of applying balanced materials.

Agro-Culture Liquid's customer base includes large and small cropping operations in over thirty states. We also have steady sales in Canada, as well as sales in Mexico and overseas. ACLF advantages include:

  • Low salt index
  • Long chain polymers
  • Multi-form nitrogen
  • Chlorophyll building elements
  • Catalyst-charged flavonols for safe handling and ecological interaction. (A "flavonol" is a proprietary organic compound that carries the micronutrients and enhances uptake by the crops.)

Agro-Culture Liquid handles the marketing and sales of all its products. We have three plants, which are located in St. Johns, Michigan, Williams, Iowa and Goodland, Kansas. The corporate headquarters are located in St. Johns. The company also maintains service centers in Texas and Montana.

The science behind Agro-Culture Liquid Fertilizers products comes from inside the company. The company’s founder, Douglas Cook, is the agronomist who pioneered the formulations to create our unique fertilizer products. ACLF products are tested on the company's own 200-acre research farm, the North Central Research Station located in St. Johns, which is made up of over 1,500 separate plots.
