Positive, outgoing, self-motivated individual to manage Sales Account Managers and facilitate company growth in the south-central states. Responsible for the direction and success of sales personnel in the attainment of maximum sales volumes from potential agricultural markets. Accurately and effectively demonstrate and communicate the strategies, ethics, and priorities of the company to SAM’s, sellers and customers.

The candidate must be willing to re-locate to the North Texas area, near Dallas/Ft. Worth.

Duties:

  • Management of all Sales Account Managers within region
  • Evaluation of performance of assigned SAMS
  • Facilitate skill upgrades of SAMs as needed
  • Oversight of sellers along with the SAM
  • Facilitate seller training
  • Maximize the benefit from Marketing resources
  • Manage the Operational Budget
  • Develop and implement regional growth strategies
  • Provide reports to Senior Management staff as required
  • Present at a variety of meetings and to varied audiences

 Buildings/ Grounds/ Maintenance

Building Operator (St. Johns, MI) 

Under the direction of the Facilities Manager, this position is responsible for performing janitorial duties, monitor maintenance duties, and event set up/tear down.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform or oversee housekeeping and grounds keeping duties
  • Routinely inspect interior and exterior spaces and equipment
  • Monitor and maintain building systems (for example – HVAC, electrical, and security systems)
  • Oversee the work of maintenance personnel and contractors hired to make repairs
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance tasks and keep maintenance records
  • Respond to emergencies such as power failures, floods or fires
  • Maintain an inventory of supplies and equipment and make recommendations regarding the purchase of new equipment
  • Janitorial duties within building (for example – floor and work surface cleaning, floor waxing, trash removal, sanitation, and general cleanup duties)
  • Assist with Snow removal
  • Building recycling program collection and hauling
  • Event setup and teardown
  • Providing flag supplies and maintaining ropes and fasteners
  • Maintain a clean & safe work environment for all building occupants
  • Mail retrieval
  • After hours on call service as needed
  • Special projects as required
  • Other duties as deemed necessary by management

Qualifications:

  • Position requires High School Diploma, general knowledge of Building and Grounds Maintenance duties, and a minimum of 2 years of on the job experience.
  • Ability to obtain Forklift Operator Certification
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Mechanical aptitude and skills
  • Regularly required to stand; walk; sit; lift and/or move up to 75 lbs.

FACILITIES AND PLANNING ASSISTANT (St. Johns, Michigan)

Under the supervision of the Facilities Manager, this position will assist with the planning and construction of company projects at new and existing sites. With the use of the qualifications listed below, the Facilities Assistant will travel to company sites providing the manual labor and insight necessary in the construction and/or installation of the project at hand.

Responsibilities:

  • Report to Facilities Manager or Supervisor on a daily/weekly basis to plan work schedule and tasks
  • Assist with plumbing installation in load and unload systems
  • Assist with various hands-on tasks required in constructing company sites including but not limited to carpentry work, electrical work, tank setting, tank and railcar cleaning, fence installation, and general maintenance and installation of manufacturing and distribution equipment.
  • Frequent travel to various sites within the United States - 2 to 3 weeks per month
  • Practice company safety policy while on site and participate in safety meetings weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly
  • Communicate project needs to supervisor, suppliers or contractors
  • Research new products and skills needed to promote efficiency and cost savings
  • Additional misc duties as deemed necessary by management

Qualifications:

  • Position requires high school diploma and minimum 2 years work experience similar to trades listed in this description
  • Basic knowledge in trades including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC
  • Basic plumbing knowledge in pumps, valves, piping and fluid transfer for loading and unloading systems
  • Basic computer knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Web navigation
  • Good communication skills - verbal, written, and email
  • Troubleshooting and assessment skills - equipment and buildings
  • Good motor skills for hands on applications - installation, service, and repair
  • Ability to obtain a forklift operators certification
  • Lift/move up to 75 pounds, stand, walk, or climb ladders while performing daily tasks
  • Travel up to 50% of the time
