Support and actively engage in company growth, goals and objectives as it relates to all aspects of company materials procurement, management company inventory, staff and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory supplier relationship and contract management
  • Material forecasting and costing
  • Locate, order and manage major supplies & components for Capital projects
  • Contract negotiation & management of material suppliers & capital projects
  • Locate, purchase and manage life cycles of company vehicles
  • Cost analysis of stock inventories & finished goods
  • Develop and implement change for highest cost efficiency
  • Create and implement process improvements
  • Manage and develop department staff
  • Computerized report building and effective utilization of expense tool
  • Process work orders, adjustments, inventory cycle counts, etc.
  • Order & track incoming materials for inventory purposes
  • Create, test & update products, formulas and supplier pricing in ERP system
  • Audit & testing to ensure raw material costing translates accurately to finished goods costing
  • Follow all safety policies, procedures and protocols at all times

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors’ Degree in Inventory Management or equivalent related job experience
  • Cost Accounting experience
  • Highly effective in contract negotiating & management
  • Successful vendor relationship management
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
  • Great communication ability, people skills and customer service
  • Proficient Computer skills:
  • ERP systems (JD Edwards Enterprise One experience a plus)
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Expense tracking program
  • Ability to stand; sit; lift; squat; stoop and move up to 25 pounds
  • Ability and willingness for occasional overnight business travel

SHIPPING SITE ASSOCIATE – part-time (Billings, MT)

Support and actively engage in company growth, goals and objectives as it relates to supporting operations at our liquid fertilizer rail and truck site in Billings by completing daily tasks as assigned.  Rely on related experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals to work accountably under general supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Railside Yard-
  • Load & unload railcars and semi-trucks utilizing pumps, valves, computerized control instrumentation.
  • Unload, move, stack and store incoming packaged materials over 75 lbs
  • Prepare/assemble product for shipment to complete shipping orders and records
  • Tank-Farm Inventory
  • Move materials following tickets to fill orders from storage, stock or other departments
  • Material identification, damage and shortage reports
  • Operate a power lift truck, hand truck, dolly, or other device
  • Assist in special site related projects as assigned
  • Perform maintenance & repairs on pumps, compressors, heaters, controls for liquid transfer processes as needed
  • Follow all safety policies, procedures and protocols at all times.
  • Perform general cleaning duties as needed inside and outside

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Related job experience
  • Outstanding Attitude, Work Ethic & Customer Service Skills
  • Proficient computer skills; ERP & Microsoft Office
  • Valid driver’s license with good driving record
  • Forklift experience
  • A strong mechanical aptitude
  • Competent in documentation and organizational skills
  • Willingness to work extended hours and alone on weekends
  • Ability to stand, sit, squat, stoop and lift and/or move 75 lbs or more
