Liquid Micronutrient Fertilizer to Optimize Growth
Micro 500 contains the essential micronutrients zinc, manganese, iron, copper, and boron. This liquid micronutrient fertilizer not only covers multiple micronutrient requirements, but it’s also easy to apply. This fertilizer is safe to apply with many other nutrition and crop protection products, so you don’t have to make an extra trip*. The micronutrients in Micro 500 stimulate healthy growth in a variety of ways, and work synergistically with one another. By improving chlorophyll production and photosynthesis, Micro 500 helps to support every growth stage.
- Helps to prevent micronutrient deficiencies, which can stunt growth
- Supports protein synthesis and enzyme production
- Improves nitrogen fixation
- Supports lignin formation
- Supports strong cell growth
Liquid Micronutrient Fertilizer
Micro 500 is a liquid micronutrient fertilizer that makes it easier for farmers and growers to prevent micronutrient deficiencies. Like many of our liquid fertilizer products, Micro 500 is designed to be easily applied. With a variety of application methods available, it’s easy to find the most efficient way to reach your crop. This also allows you to combine the sodium borate fertilizer with other crop protection products or nutrients, so you use less manpower. You don’t have to make an extra trip just to apply a zinc, manganese, iron, copper and boron fertilizer. If you think micronutrient deficiencies are stunting your crop or tree growth, or your soil simply isn’t supplying enough micronutrients for optimal growth, Micro 500 helps you solve this issue faster.
Micro 500 liquid micronutrient fertilizer also supports long term nutrient uptake. The Nutriq Technology contained in Micro 500 is what helps fight deficiency and stimulate long-lasting growth. Nutriq Technology uses plant-derived chelates to prevent the micronutrients from binding with other elements in the soil, which can create bonds that plants can’t break, and therefore can’t use. The chelates form a protective shell around the micronutrients which plants can still break down. This technology allows the micronutrients to release slowly, thereby allowing the plant to utilize them throughout its growth cycle.
Zinc, Manganese, Iron, Copper and Boron Fertilizer
Zinc, manganese, iron, copper and boron are essential micronutrients. Though these nutrients aren’t required in the same amounts as macronutrients, they are still critical to many plant processes. For example, chlorophyll production, which influences growth and development from seedling to harvest, can’t function without micronutrients. This seemingly simple process requires a complex combination of enzymes and proteins to work. Copper, manganese, zinc and iron, all play a role in photosynthesis and chlorophyll synthesis. Boron is important for the development of plant cell membranes, and plant cells can weaken without an availability of boron.
If one of these micronutrients is missing, chlorophyll production and photosynthesis may slow and plant cells can become weak, which can cause leaves to yellow and shrivel, and slow the growth of the plant overall. When these micronutrients are present and available to plants, there are no bottlenecks on plant growth. Crops and trees can reach their fullest potential, and produce maximal yields. Years of research has shown that Micro 500 bolsters other crop fertility programs and supports higher yields. When combined with macronutrient fertilizer programs, Micro 500 supports more flowering, fruiting, seeding, branch and leaf growth.
What Does Boron Do for Plants?
Boron is an often-overlooked micronutrient. What boron does for plants is fairly complex, but an absence of boron can affect the plant in multiple different ways. Boron is important for the growth of plant cells. Without boron, plant cell walls and membranes may be weak and especially susceptible to disease, pests, or damage. Boron’s role in plant cell development also makes it important for energy transfer, particularly while the plant is developing flowers, fruit, or seeds. If the plant can’t rely on a source of boron for developing new cells and transferring energy to new growth, the plant will grow much more slowly.
It is important to know what boron does for plants, but it is also important to monitor boron in the soil carefully. Too much boron can be harmful to the plant, but too little can stunt plant growth. While nearly any nutrient has levels that are safe, unsafe, optimal, and sub-optimal, the margins for boron are thinner than many other nutrients. For this reason, the levels of boron in the soil should be carefully monitored. Before using a liquid micronutrient fertilizer with boron, like Micro 500, it’s important to get a soil and tissue test. This will show how much boron, zinc, manganese, iron, copper and other nutrients are available to the plants, and how to best improve the nutrient availability.

*Always follow label directions and perform a jar test when mixing any fertilizer and/or crop protection products.
Micro 500 is derived from sodium borate, copper sulfate, ferrous sulfate, manganese sulfate, and zinc sulfate. The complete combination of micronutrients supports healthy growth and healthy soil. Micro 500 is a sodium borate fertilizer and should not be used on crops that are sensitive to boron. Consult an AgroLiquid agronomist for optimal use of Micro 500™.
Have us design a custom nutrition plan for you
An AgroLiquid nutrition plan is dependent on your location, climate, soil conditions, and goals with your crop. All of our tailored programs start with reviewing your soil samples with one of our expert agronomists. After our analysis, our team will provide you with a couple options that will help you meet your goals on a budget that won’t break the bank.
AgroLiquid Scientific Advancements
NPK macronutrients have undergone extensive study, but less attention is paid to micronutrients. This does not make them less important. Our agronomists have studied micronutrient uptake and use in a variety of crops, and found where and why these nutrients are essential. Micronutrient deficiencies can damage plants, reduce yields and affect soil quality long-term. Micro 500 fertilizer corrects micronutrient deficiencies and supports stronger yields with better quality crops.
This bonds with your nutrients and creates a protective layer that makes up to 80% more of your nutrients available to plants. It sounds like magic, but it’s just science.
