Boric Acid Fertilizer to Prevent or Correct Deficiencies
Micro 600 is designed to prevent or correct damaging micronutrient deficiencies in soil. Micro 600 contains sulfur, boron, copper, iron, manganese, and zinc. This combination of micronutrients guards against a variety of common deficiencies, including boron, which can affect pollination, and iron, which can damage plant leaves, stalks, buds, and fruit. Note that some crops are sensitive to boron, and Micro 600 may not be suitable for these.
Micronutrients are as essential to plant processes as macronutrients, and can be just as damaging if they are deficient. Micronutrients and macronutrients work synergistically to support plant processes, including cell development, photosynthesis, and the transport of sugar, among other things. Monitoring micronutrient levels and preventing deficiencies will help crops consistently reach their growth potential, and maintain or improve yields.
Iron chlorosis is a challenge for many growers, especially in areas with alkaline soil. In these areas, plants can suffer from iron chlorosis even when iron levels in the soil appear normal, since it is not accessible to the plants due to the soil pH. Micro 600 prevents and corrects iron chlorosis by supplying plant-accessible iron directly to the plant.
Micro 600 corrects soil deficiencies using our Flavonol Polymer Technology. This technology uses plant-based polymers to prevent nutrients from bonding with the soil. This allows them to be absorbed by the plant, and also preserves the nutrient content of the soil over a longer time period.
Micro 600 can be applied with other liquid macronutrients at any time to preemptively or reactively manage crop nutrient needs. This allows growers to stop deficiencies without adding time or work.
