ResetAt AgroLiquid, we study a variety of crops in detail to determine the best fertilizer combinations. All of our fertilizer research is carefully documented, including what fertilizers we use, when, on what crops, and how those crops grow. Much of our research is conducted at our 1,000 acre research facility, the North Central Research Station (NCRS). We also partner with farmers, growers, and ranchers across the country to conduct fertilizer research in other climates and soil types. This helps us perfect our fertilizer programs, and develop the most efficient combinations for all types of crops.
Fertility Programs for Reduced Irrigation and Population
As water well production slows and regulations increase in areas of heavy groundwater use,
growers are forced to cut back plant populations to match irrigation capacities.
In-Furrow Fertilizer Economic Challenge in Corn
In 2025 we did economic challenge plots with XtremeAg to see how three growers from different
parts of the country build a fertility program using a set application method and budget. In
Maryland we compared in-Furrow applications on corn with a $40/A fertility budget.
Effect of Foliar Phosphorus Applications in Soybeans
The objective of this trial was to determine the effectiveness of foliar applied phosphorus on
soybean yield.
Effect of Foliar Phosphorus Applications in Corn
The objective of this trial was to determine the effectiveness of foliar applied phosphorus on corn
yield.
2×2 Fertilizer Economic Challenge in Soybeans
In 2025 we did economic challenge plots with XtremeAg to see how three growers from different
parts of the country build a fertility program using a set application method and budget. In
Tennessee we compared foliar applications on wheat with a $30/A fertility budget.
Foliar Fertilizer Economic Challenge Double Crop Soybeans
In 2025 we did economic challenge plots with XtremeAg to see how three growers from different
parts of the country build a fertility program using a set application method and budget. In
Alabama we compared R3 foliar applications on soybeans with a $40/A fertility budget.
Field Evaluation of Supplemental Nutrient Applications at Sidedress in Grain Corn
Sidedressing nitrogen in corn allows nutrients to be applied closer to the time when the crop needs them most, improving nitrogen use efficiency and supporting strong plant growth during key development stages.
Crops: Corn. States / Provinces: Ontario. Nutrients: Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Phosphorus, Potassium, and Potassium. Years: 2025. Applications: Side Dress and Y-Drop.A Field Evaluation of Dry vs. Liquid Fertilizer Placement in Strip-Tilled Grain Corn Production
Strip tillage combines the soil conservation benefits of no-till with the seedbed advantages of conventional tillage. By tilling narrow planting strips while leaving the rest of the field undisturbed, strip tillage reduces erosion, improves soil structure, and retains moisture.
Crops: Corn. States / Provinces: Ontario. Nutrients: Micronutrients, Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Phosphorus, Potassium, and Potassium. Years: 2025. Applications: Strip-Till.Field Evaluation of Supplemental Foliar Phosphorus Applications in Grain Corn
Phosphorus plays a critical role in early corn plant development, energy
transfer, and root growth. It is a key component of adenosine triphosphate
(ATP), which drives many metabolic processes required for plant growth.

Kapitalize on Corn
This trial is testing the yield impact of adding Kapitalize to two different fertility programs.
Crops: Corn. States / Provinces: Mississippi. Nutrients: Phosphorus, Phosphorus, Potassium, and Potassium. Years: 2025. Applications: Foliar.Citrus Trial Weight and Gross Income
The objective of this trial was to compare the grower standard program to AgroLiquid program that has replaced the phosphorus and potassium in the grower standard program with AgroLiquid products of PrG for the phosphorus and Kalibrate for the potassium.
Crops: Citrus. States / Provinces: California. Nutrients: Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Phosphorus, Potassium, and Potassium. Years: 2025. Applications: Foliar and Irrigation.Citrus Trial ROI GS vs AgroLiquid
The objective of this trial was to compare the grower standard program to AgroLiquid program to find how they effect ROI.
Crops: Citrus. States / Provinces: California. Nutrients: Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Phosphorus, Potassium, and Potassium. Years: 2025. Applications: Foliar and Irrigation.Citrus Trial – Brix, Yield and Size of Fruit
The objective of this trial was to compare the grower standard program to an AgroLiquid program and how each crop nutrition program effects brix, size, and yield of the fruit.
Crops: Citrus. States / Provinces: California. Nutrients: Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Phosphorus, Potassium, and Potassium. Years: 2025. Applications: Foliar and Irrigation.Citrus Brix Yield and Size of Fruit
This trial compared the grower’s standard program to an AgroLiquid program to see how they effect Brix, yield and size of fruit.

A trial comparing the return on investment between the grower’s standard program and an AgroLiquid program.
Crops: Citrus. States / Provinces: California. Nutrients: Phosphorus, Phosphorus, Potassium, Potassium, and Programs. Years: 2024.Citrus Trial Comparing Yield and Gross Income
This trial compared the grower’s standard program to an AgroLiquid program which replaced the phosphorus and potassium with PrG and Kalibrate.
Crops: Citrus. States / Provinces: California. Nutrients: Phosphorus, Phosphorus, Potassium, Potassium, and Programs. Years: 2024.Almond Yield Trail 2024
The goal of this trial was to measure the efficacy and efficiency of AgroLiquid products compared with the grower’s standard fertilizer program. The aim was to maintain yield with far less pounds of applied fertilizer per acre than the grower standard.
