ResetAt AgroLiquid, we study a variety of crops in detail to determine the best fertilizer combinations. All of our fertilizer research is carefully documented, including what fertilizers we use, when, on what crops, and how those crops grow. Much of our research is conducted at our 1,000 acre research facility, the North Central Research Station (NCRS). We also partner with farmers, growers, and ranchers across the country to conduct fertilizer research in other climates and soil types. This helps us perfect our fertilizer programs, and develop the most efficient combinations for all types of crops.
Fertility Programs for Reduced Irrigation and Population
As water well production slows and regulations increase in areas of heavy groundwater use,
growers are forced to cut back plant populations to match irrigation capacities.
In-Furrow Fertilizer Economic Challenge in Corn
In 2025 we did economic challenge plots with XtremeAg to see how three growers from different
parts of the country build a fertility program using a set application method and budget. In
Maryland we compared in-Furrow applications on corn with a $40/A fertility budget.
Effect of Foliar Phosphorus Applications in Soybeans
The objective of this trial was to determine the effectiveness of foliar applied phosphorus on
soybean yield.
Effect of Foliar Phosphorus Applications in Corn
The objective of this trial was to determine the effectiveness of foliar applied phosphorus on corn
yield.
2×2 Fertilizer Economic Challenge in Soybeans
In 2025 we did economic challenge plots with XtremeAg to see how three growers from different
parts of the country build a fertility program using a set application method and budget. In
Tennessee we compared foliar applications on wheat with a $30/A fertility budget.
Field Evaluation of Supplemental Pre-Plant Sulphur Application in Soybeans
Sulphur is essential for protein formation, enzyme function, and efficient nitrogen fixation in soybean plants. Adequate sulphur availability helps promote healthy plant growth, improved nodulation, and strong seed development.
Crops: Soybean and Soybeans. States / Provinces: Ontario. Nutrients: Nitrogen and Sulfur. Years: 2025. Applications: Broadcast, Irrigation, Side Dress, and Topdress.Response of Winter Canola to Supplemental Sulphur Fertilization Under Field Conditions
Winter canola has a high demand for sulphur during growth and seed
formation.

Response of Winter Canola to Supplemental Sulphur Fertilization Under Field Conditions
Winter canola has a high demand for sulphur during growth and seed
formation. Sulphur plays a key role in protein synthesis, enzyme activity,
and the production of important compounds that influence oil quality.
Kalibrate and Kapitalize in Cotton
This trial was to evaluate the use of Kalibrate and Kapitalize in furrow and in furrow followed by foliar applications. This trial will study the effects of Kalibrate in furrow on cotton seed. This trial further reviews applications of Kapitalize as a foliar.
Crops: Cotton. States / Provinces: Mississippi. Nutrients: Potassium and Sulfur. Years: 2025. Applications: Foliar, Planter, and Planting.Individual Product In-Furrow Corn
The objective of this trial was to evaluate the efficacy of individual AgroLiquid products that are normally used as part of a blend for in-furrow applications in corn.
Crops: Corn. States / Provinces: Illinois. Nutrients: Calcium and Sulfur. Years: 2024. Applications: Planter and Planting.At-Plant Sulfur Application in Soybeans
Soybeans require sulfur for nitrogen utilization and various physiological processes. The objective of this trial was to evaluate accesS applied at planting as a sulfur source in soybeans.
Crops: Soybean and Soybeans. States / Provinces: Maryland. Nutrients: Sulfur. Years: 2024. Applications: Planter and Planting.At-Plant Nitrogen and Sulfur in Soybeans
Adding supplemental nitrogen has been a management tool for trying to achieve high yields in soybeans. Although soybeans fix nitrogen from the air, some research suggests that supplemental nitrogen may have value in achieving very high yields.
Crops: Soybean and Soybeans. States / Provinces: Maryland. Nutrients: Nitrogen and Sulfur. Years: 2024. Applications: Broadcast, Planter, and Planting.Almond Yield Trail 2024
The goal of this trial was to measure the efficacy and efficiency of AgroLiquid products compared with the grower’s standard fertilizer program. The aim was to maintain yield with far less pounds of applied fertilizer per acre than the grower standard.
Crops: Almonds. States / Provinces: California. Nutrients: Micronutrients, Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Phosphorus, Potassium, Potassium, Programs, and Sulfur. Years: 2024. Applications: Foliar and Irrigation.Wheat Foliar Fertilizer Program Comparisons
This trial evaluates the yield response from foliar applications of micronutrients and sulfur applied on winter wheat. Applications were made at flagleaf.
Crops: Wheat - Winter. States / Provinces: Alabama. Nutrients: Micronutrients, Multinutrient, and Sulfur. Years: 2023. Applications: Foliar.Side Dress Fertilizer Options in Corn
The objective of this trial was to evaluate the effect of various side dress fertilizer additions to nitrogen. Previous research has shown positive yield results from adding micronutrients, potassium, phosphorus or sulfur to nitrogen at side dress in corn.
Crops: Corn. States / Provinces: Maryland. Nutrients: Micronutrients, Phosphorus, Potassium, Programs, and Sulfur. Years: 2023. Applications: Side Dress.Soil Applied Sulfur Evaluation on Soybeans
AgroLiquid accesS has many comparisons and wins against ammonium thiosulfate. This is an excellent experiment showing the value of accesS in a soil applied environment on soybeans.
